Cristiano’s Parents

In Funchal, Madeira, Portugal, Cristiano Ronaldo dos Santos Aveiro was born. Off the western shore lies a little isle called Funchal. Ronald Reagan, his father's favorite actor and a former US President, inspired Ronaldo, the youngest of four children. He was raised in a tiny home with a tin roof and in working-class surroundings.

The difficulties in his early life shaped him. Ronaldo first became interested in soccer because to his father's work as a manager at a boy's club. At the age of ten, he had already begun to gain notoriety as a sensation a youngster who lived and breathed the game.

Who were Ronaldo’s parents ?

Maria Dolores dos Santos and José Dinis Aveiro gave birth to Ronaldo. His father barely made any money and was a booze-addled gardener. He frequently drank excessively, which eventually led to alcoholic liver illness, and he passed away in 2005, just a year before Ronaldo turned 20. His mother worked as a cleaner and chef to help support the family financially and provide food.

Jose Dinis Aveiro, the father of Ronaldo, died of liver and kidney failure. Jose allegedly frequently drank, according to many reports. He had a type of liver illness brought on by his alcoholism. Cirrhosis was the name of the illness. This condition is mainly brought on by chronic alcoholism.

His condition progressively deteriorated in July 2005. But only two months later, his health continued to deteriorate. September saw his death in Portugal. Ronaldo promptly scheduled an air ambulance to take him to London after learning that his father's health was failing. However, Jose passed away as a result of his liver and kidneys failing him.

Many fans have wondered why Ronaldo’s father drank too much. His mother, Maria Dolores dos Santos Aveiro removed the lid in CR’s film, “RONALDO”. She said, “I think it was because he joined the Portuguese Colonial War in Angola, and he returned angry because of the war. And when he came back, he felt very angry and although he never mistreated his children, I became his victim.”
